Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to deliver services, meet quality standards for recordkeeping, and satisfy lawful obligations. Enrollment records, billing artifacts, and communications related to disputes may be retained longer where required by Korean law.
When retention periods expire, we delete or de-identify data using reasonable technical and organizational measures. Backup systems may retain residual copies for a limited technical window consistent with our internal schedules.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with competent data protection authorities in Korea.
Requests may be verified to prevent unauthorized disclosure. We will respond within a reasonable period consistent with statutory timelines, and we will explain any legally permitted limitations on fulfillment.
Use of data
We use personal data to operate bootcamps, schedule sessions, respond to inquiries, improve instructional quality, and maintain the security of our platforms. Analytics data is processed in aggregate where possible to reduce identifiability.
We do not sell personal data as a product. Marketing communications, if any, are sent based on consent or soft opt-in where permitted, and you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Data collected
Categories may include identity and contact details, employment or education context you choose to share, billing references, technical logs such as IP address and device type, and content you submit through forms or lab systems.
Sensitive categories are collected only when necessary and with appropriate safeguards, such as minimal collection and access controls aligned to operational risk.
Scope and roles
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by AegisForge Academy in connection with its websites, enrollment flows, and instructional delivery for services offered to individuals and enterprise clients.
Where an enterprise client sponsors enrollment, the client and the Academy may each process certain overlapping data under separate roles; this policy describes the Academy’s role unless a written enterprise data exhibit states otherwise.
Third parties
We use subprocessors such as email delivery providers, calendar scheduling tools, and cloud hosting vendors that process personal data on our instructions. Contracts require appropriate confidentiality and security commitments.
We do not allow subprocessors to use personal data for independent advertising profiles. Changes to material subprocessors will be communicated through reasonable channels, such as updates to this policy or direct email notices.
